As an Artist, my intention is to not have my work confined within the walls of a defined “style”.
Each
painting represents and reflects the mood, motivation, and inspiration
from within me at the time of their creation. By allowing these
feelings to flow freely, I instinctively choose what materials are best
suited to express what I envision for each piece. Sometimes my
paintings are expressed through multi-media, where the use of
watercolor, acrylics, ink, pastel, and colored pencil are entwined.
However, there are times when only the use of acrylic paints brush the
canvas.
The subject of my paintings will vary from
representational compositions to suggestions of whimsical, fanciful,
magical imagery to engage the viewer.
My paintings are created to give pleasure, to delight, and to be pure fun for the viewer as well as the creator.
